This is for show purposes only. Absolutely no heat at all. The “CitroBlock” smell is so strong when first opened, I got a headache. That was without the fan being on for it.

I sent it back as I wanted something with a little heat.

It is real oak and it looks great and heats the whole area; living room, dining room and kitchen with chathedral ceilings! I hardly use any gas now. It is soothing to look at and pleasant and relaxing. And, it is strong enough to hold my TV. Perfect! Get it.

I’ve had this for a month and a half now and I use it every day. It’s pretty — looks as much like a real fp as an electric one could imo, very nice. And the heat from it warms up the room in about 10 minutes. Much more efficient than using the central heat even though it can be controlled by room. Saving $ on electric bill. All it took was plugging it in, no assembly. If I could change something I’d made it lighter weight, but that’s not much.

Very happy with this purchase!

I just am so happy with this fireplace. The sounds of wind and sparks are so lifelike,it’s unbelievable. I would not hesitate to order another model from classic flame,it’s the best.

We live in a public power community, so when we were looking at options to heat our family room, a friend recommended an electric fireplace, and as a former dealer, he said that Dimplex was the one. We looked all over, and discovered this one at Amazon. We set up a home theater, with a 46″ screen TV on top of the fireplace, and it looks great, while adding a nice warm feel to a normally cool “lower level”.

The only feature that was not communicated well…as the kids would tell you, was the part that says assembles in minutes. The fireplace arrived the morning of Christmas Eve, and did take minutes – It was just that it took 180 minutes. It was worth it!!!

This is a great media fireplace! I have been looking for a year at stores for a fireplace to house our stero equitment, dvr player and cable box. This piece looks like a fireplace rather than an entertainment center with a fireplace in the middle. It looks just like the picture shown, fire looks realistic, a very good quality piece of furniture. I couldnt be happier!

This Fireglo brand is aweful. it was sent to me as a substitute ( I ordered Sunjel) So I tried it and my wife and children couldnt deal with the horrible odor. not to mention I had to relight it every 10 minutes. We ordered Sunjel through gelfuelstuffandmore.com and we just love our firelace again!

Dont accept inferior brands! Hopefully I have saved someone money by trying this brand.

The piece looks great, was easy to assemble and functions well as a media console under my wall mounted tv.

However the amount of heat it produces is far less than I expected. The box stated it can supply supplemental heat

for a 400sq ft room. I can only feel the heat within 1ft of the fireplace. I will be calling dimplex to see if there is something wrong. So far I would recommend only if you don’t want much heat.
